New Online Research Library

Share |

The Ontario Media Development Corporation (OMDC) has launched an extensive Online Research Library that will be of great value to anyone interested in the industry side of culture and entertainment.

Publicly-accessible and fully-searchable, this digital database presents a wealth of information and research studies on cultural and entertainment media industries, from a wide variety of domestic and international sources.

In addition to covering books, interactive digital media, film and television, magazines and sound recording — the six culture sectors the OMDC works with — the library contains a section on cultural policy, legal and regulatory issues, and trends and statistics.

You can view, download or link to the library's PDFs. You can also perform full content searches of the available documents by keyword. Moving forward, the OMDC invites users to suggest documents for inclusion in the library.

Your direct link to the library is: researchlibrary.omdc.on.ca.
