Deadline Extension for the Bronwen Wallace Award

RBC Bronwen Wallace Award for Emerging Writers

CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS
A prize of $5,000 will be awarded to the best collection of poetry. Two honourable mentions will each receive $1,000 prizes.

THE DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO MONDAY, JANUARY 17, 2011

All submissions postmarked before or on the new deadline date will be accepted.

Eligible Candidates Are:

1. Under the age of 35 as of the deadline date;
2. A Canadian citizen or permanent resident;
3. Unpublished in book form and without a book contract;
4. Previously published in an independently edited literary magazine or anthology.

The candidate's name, address, email, telephone number and details confirming their eligibility must appear only on a cover sheet accompanying the manuscript. Applicants should submit 5–10 pages of previously unpublished poetry. All pages must be unstapled and consecutively numbered. Entries will not be returned.
