Dancing on Live Embers Receives Gustavus Myers Centre Award

Dancing on Live Embers: Challenging Racism in Organizations by Tina Lopes and Barb Thomas (Between the Lines, 2006) was one of ten books to receive an Outstanding Book Award from the Gustavus Myers Centre for the Study of Bigotry and Human Rights. Dancing on Embers "investigates how racism, White power, and privilege operate in the ordinary moments of organizational life." Congratulations Tina Lopes and Barb Thomas.
