A challenging second poetry collection, also with a great title. Angela Hibbs’ Wanton includes short poems and a long sequence about an imaginary community where adopted children are used as unpaid labour. To quote the publisher’s blurb, “the bastard child of Harold Gray's Little Orphan Annie and Harmony Korine's Gummo.”
